Paul Rath is a trained and licensed psychologist with a diploma degree from the University of Cologne. Having learned the ropes of behavioral therapy and practiced in that field, he decided that coping with symptoms was not enough. He pursued and earned a degree as a psychoanalyst at the University of Duesseldorf.
Paul has been practicing as a psychotherapist and analyst since 1982. Parallel to that, he pursued a career as a human resources manager in a mid-sized engineering firm focussing on training and organizational development.
Since 2008 Paul has been expanding his practice with partners from other domains, such as human communications, coaching, and from other countries, such as the U.S. His underlying notion is to reach out to other cultures, even beyond Germany, and thus, ingrain the art of communications into his offering as a therapist — and as a business consultant.
